‘Orka’ Aquapark

In the ‘Orka’ Aquapark of Bolesławiec, in the pool part, apart from the sports pool of the dimensions of 25m x 16m, there is also a recreational part which can be used by children and whole families.

Ceramics Museum in Bolesławiec

The Ceramics Museum in Bolesławiec was founded in 1908. The design of a reconstruction of the existing building, connected with a 15-th century tower belonging to town fortifications.

Forum cinema

The Forum cinema was nominated to the 5th edition of Prizes of Polski Instytut Sztuki Filmowej (Polish Film Institute) in the CINEMA category.

The station is located in the centre of Bolesławiec at ul. Bolesława Chrobrego, 470 metres from the Bolesławiec Market Square.

History of Bolesławiec

In 1190. Fr. Boleslaw the Tall founded a settlement. Town privileges were given less than a hundred years later. Residents engaged in pottery, which Bolesławiec became a powerful center of ceramic production.

Why is it worthwhile coming to Bolesławiec?

When we come to Bolesławiec, the first goal should be at the Market Square where we can see colourful tenement houses. On one of them, we can find a low relief of an angel from the 18th century and on another one - elevation from ceramic tiles and with floral ornaments. The Town House is the central point of the Market Square. However, its interior can be a surprise - it is a beautiful room with vaults from the 16th century. Only the tower and the dungeons are preserved from the 15th century.
